fresh bedding love

with crane & canopy

kid bedding

Crane and Canopy sent over some bedding sets for Vivi and I to style (so fun!) and I took them down to our family farmhouse to try them out.  One set was for a twin bed (pictured above with the white Mirabel duvet cover and Taylor mint green shams), so we put it on one of the twin beds in the loft.  It will soon be moving into her and Brigie's shared room, so it was fun to try it out to see how it might look downstairs.

The bedding is really gorgeous, and I love that the duvets zip at the end for a super neat and clean look.  New bedding is such an easy way to refresh a space!  I really love those mint green shams.

Obviously Vivi is a fan!!

Mmmm.  Wish I could take a nap there.  That's what I'd like for Mother's Day: a nap!

I put the "grown up" bedding into the room where we usually stay.  I love the crisp feel of the white linden duvet with the bold monaco blue border.

So inviting, right?  I paired it with a vintage tartan throw and that fluffy flokati pillow and an extra long pillow (which I'll be posting about next week).

Those posters are by my favorite Jason Munn and feature classic Western films, and the gorgeous headboard was handmade by my talented father with wood that came from my great-grandmother's birthplace.  I love how the Crane & Canopy bedding adds a bit of a modern touch to an otherwise rustic room.
